The blurb on the back of this advance compared Cook to James Lee Burke and Elmore Leonard. That's pretty high praise for a first novel. It was a pretty good first novel (that's my blurb.) The line between "good guys" and "bad guys" was pretty much indistinguishable. There was a couple of pretty good...
