Confession: I ended up switching to the audio version of this book (but without bothering to switch editions on my "currently reading" shelves). I just seem to get most of my reading done that way lately (training for my first 50k will do that). I thoroughly enjoyed this "running" book.

I have no idea how factual this book actually is, but I'm going to pretend it's all true because it was a fun and inspirational read. The cheesy, journalistic tone was distracting, but it didn't spoil it for me. As brutal as ultra running sounds, I'm still sitting here with the urge to lace up.
