Originally from the Denver area, Lieutenant Colonel Chuck Grossart retired from the United States Air Force after serving his country for twenty years as a missile launch officer, space operator, and strike planner. Now settled with his family outside Omaha, Nebraska, he continues to serve as a strategic plans analyst for the Department of the Air Force. Chuck's first novel, The Coming, was a quarter-finalist in the 2011 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest. In addition to being selected as a winner in the Audio-ON 2013 Aspiring Authors Contest, his second novel, The Gemini Effect (previously titled The Mengele Effect), won the 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award for Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror and will be released by Amazon Publishing's 47North imprint on April 1, 2015. Chuck is a member of the Nebraska Writers Guild and the Nebraska Writers Workshop.
