Chuck Taylor loves to perform magic shows and children's birthday parties, churches, and schools. He is a great fan of dogs and cats and does photography as a hobby. Go to Fine Art America or Redbubble to see his photographs. His daughter just returned from a foreign exchange in Japan. His wife is Japanese and she keeps him skinny by fixing mostly rice and vegetables. She will not let him in the kitchen.Chuck Taylor has published two previous novels, Drifter’s Story and Fogg in High School, as well as three short story collections, Lights of the City, Somebody to Love, and It All Flows Away. His two most recent books have been poetry collections, Heterosexual: A Love Story, and Like Li-Po Laughing at the Lonely Moon. He’s worked as a children’s magician, bookstore clerk, balloon clown, survey taker, janitor, soft water salesman, maintenance man, and animal lab assistant. For the last twenty years he has taught creative writing at Texas A&M University. He is married to Takako Saito Taylor and has three children.
