3.0 Well done if nothing more
I appreciate the effort that went into this to make it historically accurate. And I appreciate that, instead of writing a work of scholarship, he tried to make it exciting by writing a novel. But I have never felt the kind of enthusiasm for solving a "mystery" as unmysetrious as the death of Poe as ...

3.0 The Poe Shadow
I'm not really sure why I liked this book. Must be the subject! The writing didn't impress me at all, nothing was special, nothing I haven't seen before. Even so, it kept me going. The plot was a bit weird, twists and turns that I don't think were supposed to be there, but added just for the fun.. C...

3.0 The Poe Shadow
I was intrigued by the use of Edgar A Poe's death as a plot for a fictional story and found it to be quite fascinating! There is a lot of detail and plot twists, and a plethora of characters to this novel that sometimes can become tedious and confusing in some parts. The entire story is told through...
