Honestly, Clary, Simon and Jace have just been getting less likeable as the book has gone on, quite the opposite of what is supposed to happen with character growth. Add to that that the story wasn't as interesting as the first books in the series, and I was quite let down. The first two and a half ...

Meeeeh :/I am not a huge TMI fan anyway, but I somehow got sucked into the first three books. I read the first, didn't really like it. Re-read it and liked it more, so I read the second. I liked it ok, so when I found the whole series on sale, I went ahead and bought them. Now I kind of wish I hadn'...

⭐5 stars⭐Jace perched on the windowsill and looked down at him. "You really don't get this bodyguard thing, do you?""I didn't even think you liked me all that much," said Simon. "Is this one of those keep-your-friends-close-and-your-enemies-closer things?""I thought it was keep your friends close so...

But then I read The Bane Chronicles and some of the Shadowhunter Academy and I just needed closure on Simon's story arc, Al...

Great read, but I didn't enjoy it as much as some of the other books in the Shadowhunter universe. Interesting end. I will definitely be continuing the books.

Why would someone who plagiarized get away with it and get load of money? That's bad behaviors. It discouraged originality. This writer should not copy from Buffy the Vampire slayer, one of my favor TV series. Shameful behavior should be made public.

Looks like while Valentine is dead, someone is plotting to continue his legacy. Clary and Jace are caught right in the cross-fire. I’m actually writing this review from the vantage point of mid-way through book 5, but this series is frustrating. I’m enjoying it -- a lot -- and the tension is high --...
