I was a bit disappointed because we didn't learn much about how vampires came to be or what their weaknesses were, except for sunlight.There was a touch of BDSM to the book but not much. 2.5 starsLoved the premise, but wasn't thrilled with the actual storytelling. Didn't care for the pov and the plethora of narrative to tell me the characters' emotions rather than utilizing action or dialogue.
A sometimes dark, suspenseful read. Quick paced with a strong plot. Great read.
