This story had a twist that I didn't see coming. I thought the story would be about Ned ... but about 1/3rd of the story, the POV changed to Thom's. I guess Ned is the representative of the "then" while Thom is for the "now". It's a lovely story for a short one. I was actually going to give it a 3.5...
