I know the BSC books are as tacky as anything, but still my main reaction to a book shouldn't be an incredulous "Oh, come ON!" Claudia, the non-cook, trying to come up with her own recipes for a contest, rather than using something tried and tested by Mary Anne? Really? Riiiiiight...
