Although I liked Julie and Julia, I just disliked this book from the beginning and cut my losses early and returned it to the library without getting far.
The follow-up to Julie and Julia takes a much darker tone as the author takes some very different turns in life. I found it to be quite a bleak view from her earlier work, but still interesting.
