This was a freebie offered up at Audible last October. I finally got around to listening to it this morning and it was a fabulous little Halloween gift given to us from author Neil Gaiman. Sadly, I don't think it's available even for purchase at this time but if you stumble across it somewhere it's...

So listening to this in the middle of a hurricane, with trees going click-clack in the wind, wasn't my best idea.

Es una de esas pequeñas historias que contarías en la hora de las historias creepies de la reunión familiar. Además, está gratis en audible.com hasta halloween, es narrada por Neil y dura menos de quince minutos. What's not to like?

Not the scariest thing I've ever come across, but definitely has a nice chill factor, especially if you read it in the dark. And of course, its Neil Gaiman so its very well written and enjoyable to read. I was expecting it to be much scarier, though.

I'm not going to say much about it, other than Neil Gaiman's voice is what makes this story great, because I think anyone who loves being a little scared at night should give this a listen (and should download for free before Halloween at audible for a good cause)...

This is a short story, rather than a book, written and narrated by Neil Gaiman. Scary? Yes, but only if you really think about it and then you realise just how scary. A spooky short story just perfect for the autumnal season of Halloween, as we move into the darkness.

Everyone: go get your Halloween read at Audible.com. Not only is it free, not only is it read by Neil Himself, the founder of All Hallow's Read, but Audible will make a charitable donation for every single download. Everybody wins!***I loved it, the ten-year-old loved it. A fine example of slowing-b...
