I’m a bookish person who wants to dress better. So what do I do? Read a book about dressing better. I knew more than I thought I would as I was reading it, but I still learned a few style tips. There were pictures for every single example, so this 200 page book is about half as long as it looks a...

I read a completly frivolous book today: Oh No She Didn't: The Top 100 Style Mistakes Women Make and How to Avoid Them by Clinton Kelly. (Did I just admit to reading that???) Mr. Kelly gets 5 stars for snark, but -2 for his regrettable insistence on empire waists.

Although I already knew most of the mistakes in the book, it was still fun to read Clinton's sassy comments. This book is especially good in you are in a nasty, talkin' shit on people kind of mood.

That aside, Kelly takes on a little too much in this book in a relative short space but the book is entertaining, which is the goal, I suppose. He's basically trying...

Clinton Kelly is the acerbic male co-host of TV's popular "What Not to Wear." His background in fashion makes him a hit on the show, and he's obviously experienced in showing people how to dress themselves for the best effect. In this book, Kelly takes advantage of his masters' degree in journalis...
