Coco Ihle's debut mystery, SHE HAD TO KNOW, has autobiographical elements and is about two long lost sisters' adventures after reuniting. Coco spent over fifty years searching for her sister, and found her in 1994.In her former career, she was a well known international belly dancer who was privileged to perform in shows in Greece, Turkey, Mexico, Spain, Hawaii, New York city, Atlantic City, and for appearances with the Today Show's Willard Scott, actor Cliff Robertson and Whoopie Goldberg. During this time she was a staff writer for The Caravan, an international dance publication and spent many years as a fund raiser for charities and as an instructor at Auburn University Montgomery. Now that Coco had graduated to her next life, writing, she has found satisfaction in an award for poetry, two years running and in her short story, Every Difficulty Along the Way, which was published in FWA's COLLECTION #1, FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS anthology. She is a member of MWA, SinC, Pasco Regional Writers (FWA),the Alma Society, which helps in family searches, and the Buchanan Clan of Scotland.
