DNF @ 20%. I'm finally giving it up. I put it on hold about a month ago and had a go at reading more of it last night and within three kindle pages, I'd exited the book again. I had no idea what the hell was happening in this friggin book! She wakes up in a strange house, black and blue, scared ...
This book just isn't doing anything for me at the moment. I'm just flowing through it but not really enjoying it. I need more depth and description and I'm not getting either. I'm moving on
Mamy tu historię naiwnej Claire i pozbawionego skrupułów Anthonego. Bohaterka staje się więźniem w wielkiej...
Whoa.... I knew this book wasn't all sunshine and roses, but I sure as hell didn't see THAT coming!! Total mind fuck of a book and I couldn't put it down. What Claire was put through was insane and some of her choices made me want to scream at her, but that's the psychology of abuse! There were ...

If this is what people are reading and finding a rush of feeling, well, I'm sad about what stories these readers are reaching for. I'll try to write a review later but this book was shit. Let's not talk about ...
It wasn't the dark themes or the non-con that turned me off (this isn't even the most f-ed up book I've read) but the writing seriously SUCKED. I'm not kidding. A gal could wind up in a comma if she decided to play a drinking game with how many times the author used "I" in this book! I'm staying far...
I read this awhile back, and it still sticks with me. At first, I wasn't so sure about it because I was expecting dark erotica. This book isn't erotic. It's a psychological thriller. Consequences was the first time that this author messed with my head, and I've continued to go back for more.
I tend not to read any reviews before I read any particular book, but in this case I did happen to see a few reviews that compared Consequences to Captive in the Dark by CJ Roberts. I was intrigued, mostly because I love anything CJ Roberts. In my opinion, there is really no comparison between Capti...
