I've passed this along to the Possum. Poignant. I dearly loved Cornelia and the Somerset sisters.***And now she's got me reading it out loud to her. Not that I mind. The layers of storytelling make it particularly well-suited (so far at least) to reading aloud.
A thoroughly enjoyable tale that weaves through time, proprieties, and attachments.
