While the mystery part of this book was quite interesting (although I figured out the point much sooner than the MC), I did not enjoy the rest. Maybe it was because the book started when the MCs already knew each other, but I couldn't feel the attraction between them - they seemed to have so differe...
So, I liked this.I like the big softy Max became. However, he was too much of a hard ass for most of the book. The two MC's could barely stand each other, but they had hot sex. Is that enough for a budding romance? I wanted to kick Max's ass a lot for the condescending tone he used on Finn. Why...
This was an enjoyable story with the same feel as the previous books in the series. There is mystery and a lot of humour in the telling of the tale. I liked both the main characters and the sex was hot. I usually like more romance in my books but with this series, I read more for the other elements...
First impressions: Hmmmm.... Not what I expected after the first book in the series. This one is long on plot and less on character.
I liked this one!! Might be my favorite in the series so far!
3 3/4 stars...A little short, a little less funny than expected, but still a nice read.
3.5 stars. Max drove me a bit bonkers with his swift personality changes but there was great sexual tension, a decent mystery, and a sweet ending.
Reread. Very good m/m romance about a prep school teacher and dorm parent who is discomfited to discover that the security specialist he had an impulsive encounter with will be protecting one of the students in the dorm.
