It was definitely the illustrations that pushed this story through to 4 stars. That----and I thought the cover was a girl with lipstick and not a melting ice cream cone at first. :]

LOVE LOVE LOVE the illustrations, but the story could have been better. Especially the ending. It didn't work for me.
