In this one we see Eve and Roarke working even more closely together. On that point, I have a feeling he's not coming back to the precinct any time soon :D

Even before I had read a single page from the book, I was prejudiced. I couldn’t help it, as the book had so many stereotypes, which I had not only come to loathe but absolutely hate. Those were,1. Serial killer who has a media provided nickname.2. Female lead with husband as sidekick.3. Lots and lo...

I bought this book before knowing it was part of a series (saw it in the best selling section) so I read it anyways and I really liked it. I found that the ending could have been a bit more climactic (I'm used to Alex Kava and her heart-stopping endings) but it still made me buy the 1st one of the s...

This time it turns out the killer has returned to catch Eve. Roarke is joining the hunt because all the new victims are employees of his. Summerset is a help and that pisses Eve off…of course. Sometimes I find Mavis to be a silly twit but she is Eve’s friend and she adds to the story. I love that Ro...

A serial killer who had eluded the NYSPD nine years ago has returned. Feeney was the primary investigator back then and Eve was a newly minted detective and his partner. The fact that the killer escaped clean to go ply his trade in other cities and countries has sat bitterly with not only Eve and Fe...
