The last chapter was the only part of this book that lived up to the Alex Cross legend. Otherwise I found this book kind of lame. American cop goes to a war torn country to hunt down a killer alone and is surprised at the danger and corruption that he finds....lame!

Although I gave this book 3 stars, it is about this time that I became really bored with the writing of JP..I felt this book was good, but not great.
I actually gave this book a 3.5. It was, as always a fast pased thriller, and easy to read, but it stretched the bounds of credibility far beyond my comfort zone.
I love Alex Cross and this is one of the best that I've read. Love the short chapters, you read and read without realizing. Highly recommended for Cross lovers.
