Chef Caide Palmer, playboy of Emerald Isle, finds himself in a custody battle with his daughter’s grandparents. The judge rules he must attend Al Anon since the mother of his daughter was a drug user. He didn’t understand why he was the one who had to get help, it was her who took the fatal overdose.
Business owner River Murphy has been leading the Al Anon meetings for the past year. She finally had control of her life, until he walked in and turned things upside down. River knew his reputation and she wasn’t going to fall for his sweet talking.
When someone drugs River in a local bar, Caide is there to make sure she gets home safely. It isn’t long before they realize someone is targeting River, but the police haven’t found a suspect. Before long, the two find themselves falling for each other.
