When a girl goes missing in the small town of Cryer's Cross, the residents are understandably frightened by this and join together to find her. Unfortunately, they are unable to find her. I have read the wake series by Lisa McMann a few years ago and I loved it so when I saw this book for $3 at Books a Million I couldn't say no. There is a lot of tension that builds throughout the entire book but it isn't until the last few chapters that we even get a hint to what is going on. I l...
I read this book long ago. I think it was a deal with Barnes and Noble or something where you pay x-amount of dollars plus tax and viola! a book. Or maybe it was a free deal. *shrugs* Semantics, I suppose. Either way, I read it. Conceptually, it wasn't a bad story. Conceptually, that is. The exe...

I wouldn't say that they are developed well, but they are genuine and relatable. Kendall is trying to cope with her "boyfriend" being missing, trying to figure out if...
