The female lead is a bit of TSTL. And also a Mary Sue. Everyone wants her, bla bla... The world-building was not so bad, but the strange (and for PNR or UF strangely poly) lust/crush/infatuation stuff going on didn't help.

Feeling really meh about this paranormal cozy. I figured out the killer early in the story, and wasn't all that interested in the dynamics of the relationships between the different characters. Not bad. Cute in fact. A bit tropey, gorgeous smart and supertalented cook who owns her own successful business at an improbably young age, discovers she's got superpowers. Heroine is a bit passive, getting ordered around by everyone and anyone, until the very end when she finally grows a backbone...
