This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life in Books.I liked this book even better than the first installment. I think that the biggest difference was that I was already familiar with the characters and the rules of the world instead when I started this one. It was really easy to slip back...
Alex Verus would like a nice quiet life, but everyone seems to be unable to let him and he can't stand seeing his friends hurt and some friends are less human like than others. This was interesting and it was also interesting how he learns as well about himself and about those around him.
