This book is just beautifully written. Bond does an amazing job of giving depth to each and every character, including characters we only meet for a page or two. Her unflinching writing punches you in the face and I loved every second of it. Amazing commentary on race, religion, class, and gender!

I'm not giving it a definitive rating or review right now because I haven't read but a quarter of the book. I'm shelving it and will finish it in the near future. It's sort of a slow read right now and I can't seem to get into it at this time.
