I wanted to enjoy this western. But the heroine was way too annoying. There were parts that were good. The hero. I liked his kids. I even liked the mining town they settle in along with the townspeople. And I liked the heroine in flashes. But she was one of those people who worked against her own be...

It would have been 4 stars if the female character wasn't so annoying, her reactions were just ridiculous...

Rating 3.25 starsThis book was just decent, that's all I can say. The characters were not bad but they weren't memorable either. The hero was wrongly convicted at the age of 22 and got out eight years later, he is wary and closed off and adrift when he rescues the heroine who is depressed and lifele...

Rating 3.5 starsThis one was nice and sweet with an adorable child. The heroine has spent her life pleasing her father while the hero has done the opposite. These two have ignored each other despite being neighbours for two years but it changes when the hero finds a little girl sleeping in the alley...

I love reading about rich, powerful, handsome men who are jaded and don't believe in love. Then out of no where, a sweet, innocent girl changes his mind. I loved how the secondary character, Kevin's, self discovery was also included in this book. This was a fun quick read.

Nice, enjoyable, typical Dallas Schulze book that was going along nicely until you are hit at the end with the secret baby and an abrupt ending.
