The third book in the Nightwalker series, Elijah, was a bit of a disappointment. So when I realized that the fourth book, Damien, was dealing with the heroine of the last book's sister, I was a little worried that the book would have the same flaws. Fortunately, it did not!Syrenna is the Lycanthrope...
This was the fourth book in the series and the different species of Nightwalkers continue to intermingle despite the centuries of it being taboo to mix races. This one centered on the Prince of Vampires, Damien who rescues the Lycanthrope Princess Syreena in this dark little fairy tale. Secrets of...
From the blurb:They are the Nightwalkers, mysterious beings who dwell in the shadows of our world, and Damien, the Vampire Prince, is among the most powerful of them all. But one woman will tempt him with a desire unlike anything he has known, and together they will face a terrifying and relentless ...
I actually liked this better than the last book. Damien's character is interesting and we learn a lot about why vampires aren't as emotionally attached as the other Nightwalkers. The mythology throughout the series continues growing as it is revealed and I'm interested to see more of the Mistrals ...
I didn't love this one they way that I loved the others, but I think that was because I wanted more of Damien and Syreena. I still really liked it though and I absolutely can NOT wait for Noah. I have no idea who is heroine is though. Did I miss that?
First Thoughts.
Another solid book in the Nightwalker series. Frank has a tendency to be very wordy, describing feelings in great detail. Sometimes it gets a bit long, and I find myself looking for the dialogue and action. I felt this book was a bit better paced in that regard compared to the last night. While ther...
This series just keeps getting better! Damien's story surpassed my expectations. Damien, the Vampire Prince is a suave and sexy hero with a great sense of humor who meets his match in the Lycanthrope Princess Syreena. Both stubborn and afraid to let their guard down, these two are taken by surprise ...
I thought I would have really enjoyed this but I didn't. While it was good there was parts that I did not like. The two characters were "blah" to me. I really liked Elijah and Jacob's story. Gideon was so-so but this one left me feeling like blah.
