Having only started writing less than two years ago, Damon already has a number of short stories published.The initial publication of 'Simmo!' in Because of What Happened (The Fiction Desk) was quickly followed by 'Going Equipped' in Knife Edge: Anthology (Marble City Publishing).He has since been published in New Walk Magazine and online, and he has two stories ('Mr Mystery' and 'Spilled Wine') in Marble City's latest offering 'Edge of Passion'.His stories are known for their reflection of apparently mundane and everyday lives with underlying twists.Damon has a number of other stories that will be published in due course.The opening paragraph from 'Simmo!':The Evening Herald was full of praise for Dean Simmons. He was bright. He was popular. He was an aspiring footballer. Well, I happened to know him. The lad was a little s*** who picked on me every day on my way to school. And I don't care what people say, just because he is dead doesn't change a thing.
