DAN BRITTON is a speaker, writer, teacher, coach, trainer, and marathoner. His mission is to help people live their lives with purpose and passion. He currently serves as the International Executive Director with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has been on staff with them for 27 years. Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a 63-year-old sports organization that impacts over two million coaches and athletes each year – from the youth level to the professional level. Dan travels extensively around the world training thousands of sports leaders and works with over 60 countries. Dan played professional lacrosse for four years with the Baltimore Thunder, earning a spot on the All-Star team and was nominated by his teammates for both the Service and Unsung Hero awards. He has coauthored five books, Life Word, One Word, Wisdom Walks, True Competitor, and Called to Greatness. Additionally, he has authored and edited 12 books with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is a frequent speaker for companies, nonprofits, sports teams, schools, and churches. Dan’s been interviewed by national outlets like FOX News, CBS News, and Fast Company. He still plays and coaches lacrosse and enjoys running marathons, even doing the Boston Marathon twice. He is married to Dawn, whom he met in youth group in eighth grade, and they reside in Overland Park, Kansas, and have three adult children: Kallie, Abby and Elijah.
