Just something to fill the time. I had read the book that came right before this in the series, and I'm pretty sure I read Relic way back, but there have been several others in the interim - not sufficiently interested to acquire the others. Another popcorn book.
There weren't enough unusual elements in this Prendergast novel to keep me happy. This one reads like a straightforward murder mystery without the scientific details that are prevalent in most of their other books. The idea of Prendergast's twin brother doesn't exactly thrill me.
