My ploughing through these books continues! I was worried about this one to begin with. All the Dark-Hunter characters have their traumas; you do become a Dark-Hunter by crying for vengeance usually during a violent and horrific death. So they're not all totally balanced, mentally. And Zarek is th...

Better than book 2. I liked Zarek and "got" why he was like the way he was. It was a bit cliche- a certain person being a virgin. Yes, it was explained, but not buying. It annoys me when there is a character who happens to be immortal (or very long lived) have miniscule experience in the sex de...

Zarek of Moesia, Astrid Zarek broke my heart. The things he has lived through. Thank goodness he now has Astrid and she understand him and loves him. He so deserves it. Also the twists and turns in this one are killer! 4.5 Stars

Fun read, immortals abound, Zarek is a dark hunter, immortal, soulless, exiled. Astrid is an immortal who is supposed to judge him. Complete Vampire slash but a fun and compelling read, I couldn't put it down!

Best DH book so far. Wasn't overly cheesy and still kept some humor with the extra emo.Zarek and Zsadist (BDB) oh the similarities and love I have for the "broken" ones. Astrid and Zarek were very well written.Artemis is just the absolute worst and Acheron is just stuck :(Simi has to be the cutest, ...
