2.5 starsThis one only kind of worked for me. I like the main characters, but the story needed more. There was a lot of internal thoughts that were deep and part of a bigger relationship convo that never happened. They didn't verbalize much of anything. That felt weird. The mystery wasn't. There was ...

This story was far too short for me!!. It’s a mystery, so for me it takes time to get in the story and get invested into the characters. Will and Taylor know each other 3 years as collegues and after Taylor was hurt in a shooting, Taylor declares his affection to Will. Will doesn’t want to get roma...

I like Josh Lanyons books, this was no exception but I didn't like it as much as some of his other works. This was an interesting read, what with them both being openly gay but not wanting to be together in case it ruined their friendship and partnership of three years, with a kind of mystery plotlin...

I've found that I have a type - MC's that are alphas and work in law enforcement. Only complaint was that it was too short… isn't that always the case?

This is really a 2-star read for me. It took me almost 50 pages to understand what exactly was even going on. In my eyes that's not good. The story felt like it both started and stopped in the middle of a chapter which was really frustrating. It was difficult for me to keep track of which point of v...

This was actually a 4 star rating from me the first time I read this book, but I'm bumping it up to a 5 star read this time around. Any book that I can read twice and enjoy every bit as much or possibly a little more the second time as the first earns 5 stars in my world. I make no apologies that ...

Short and sweet. i loved how the main characters are coming from an established relationship of mutual respect and partnership. Debating whether or not sex will endanger that relationship was a natural (though Romance-Novel-Rare) interaction.

2.5 StarsThis was just an ok start to Lanyon's Dangerous Ground series. Taylor and Will are openly gay federal agents who are both partners and friends. Taylor wants more, however Will doesn't want to ruin their friendship or work relationship by taking things any further.Lanyon has a great way o...

I swear I've read this before but I don't remember having read an M/M romance before a few months ago. Since this was first published in '08, I should remember it better than I do. So it's possible I just read something similar. I only tell you this because I don't know how original the story is. I'...
