Daniel C. Grahl was born to Barry and Ann Grahl in October 1956 while his father was in Seminary. Dan grew up as a PK (Preacher's Kid) in Michigan and Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Degree in English Literature. Although he has worked in the Banking Industry for over thirty years, his first love is performing Christian Music and writing. While a member of McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Florida, for over 25 years he has had the privilege of singing and acting in over 30 major musicals in this church of roughly 7,000 members. He has written two major Christian dramas, skits and songs. As a grandfather he is concerned with the cultural decline in America and hopes to encourage other Christian grandparents with his book, "The Legacy Your Grandchildren Will Treasure." The book explains the wonderful opportunity to convey your Christian faith to your own grandchildren and allows you to look over his shoulder as he writes his life story for his own granddaughter, Cailyn. Written with humor, he tells Cailyn about the seminal moments in his life, providing her with numerous "pearls of wisdom" that he hopes will make a difference in her life. He closes the book with advice on writing your own life story which can serve as a foundation for building the best relationship possible with your own grandchildren. You will certainly find many stories that you can relate to and find inspiration to write your own life story for those who are most precious to you. You can leave stocks and bonds to your grandchildren but your life story will certainly be the legacy they treasure most.
