Daniel Friedman is professor of economics at his alma mater, the University of California, Santa Cruz. The recipient of 13 National Science Foundation grants, he is Director of LEEPS Lab (http://leeps.ucsc.edu/home), has served many years on the editorial boards of the American Economic Review, The Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Games and Economic Behavior, and Experimental Economics, and is the author of several books aimed at an academic audience.
