I love a good fairy tale retelling, and recall enjoying Paige's first published novel, Dorothy Must Die. This was just not good. Fortunately, I checked it out of the library, because had I bought it, I would have been annoyed. I read the first 40%, and then skipped to the end. There is a love-rh...

Let's start with, lately I have seriously had a knack for picking stories told in first person...which I hate. This was an interesting enough story that it was pretty easy to ignore. This book was dark, very dark and a teeny bit gruesome. Amy is a teenager from Kansas. She lives in a trailer, h...

I love seeing new characters, and I love the fact that I could identify them. I'm ...

The End of Oz indeed. I think the unpredictability of this saga has been the most fun. Including this ending! This retelling of Oz has been one helluva ride. While I expected a bit of a bigger.....BANG....of an ending, I was still happy. Besides that, Oz never really ends. Now does it?

First, the names in this aren't my favorite. I mean, Snow? Seriously. Yes, she controls the snow. Sure. But Paige really could have come up with something better than Snow. And Jagger? Like, hey, look at me. I'm a bad ass. Nope. And Algid. Sucks. The names just suck. Period. Moving on. The pacing at...
