Darcy Coates has done a very creepy job with this book. I have read/listened to a few of her books and love them all so far. I love how she mainly does Haunted House books. Ghosts are my favorite. The book is Narrated by Emily Sutton-Smith. I really enjoyed her rendition of the book. She fully kept ...

The Carrow Haunt is Darcy Coates newest release. It's about a girl named Remy that gives tours of the famously haunted Carrow House. On one of her tours, a guest asks if she will proposition the owner to allow a group of people including Remy, to stay at Carrow House for a couple of weeks in order t...

I usually get most of my books from Authors, Publishers, and Narrators. This one I actually bought. I listened to the sample on Audible and had to hear the rest of the story. The Audiobook is about 6 1/2 hours long. It is written by Darcy Coates and Narrated by Joe Hempel. Both have done and awesome...

This was the first book I've read by Darcy Coates and it was really good! If you don't like very scary books, no worries, you won't have to sleep with the lights on or anything. It's just a little creepy and there's a few 'hold your breath' and 'make you jump' scenes but nothing over the top. I'...

I don't even know where to start. This wouldn't have been as bad a book, but the main character Mara was one of the most insufferable characters I've encountered in a book in a long time. She was, to put it succinctly, a brat. I think she was supposed to be portrayed as a strong, independent woman...

Darcy Coates is quickly becoming the author I turn to when I'm wanting a pleasant distraction. The Folcroft Ghosts has a strong The Visit feel to it for the longest time, but there's a twist in the end you wouldn't be expecting.Perhaps a full review later.

The Good:It's a very creepy, atmospheric story set in an old house with secrets, which I mean what more could you want? The writing is great, and the suspense is wonderful in places. It's a decent read. Why only a decent read? The Bad: The ending is kind of lame. At least it was for me, I hoped for s...

I'm glad I decided to give Darcy Coates a second try. Ghost Camera was almost the perfect horror novella. The creepiness starts almost instantly, and keeps ramping up. The paranormal aspect is well enough described to make you shiver and look over your shoulder. That's the great thing about short st...

I was given a copy for an honest review. I love horror and not much scares me any more. As I was reading this one, I found myself listening to the noises in my own house late at night. Once I got over the small amount of nerves, I did not want to put this down. I enjoyed the scary moments as well as...
