I wouldn't call this exactly a crime novel, although there was suspense. Were we all so harsh and brute against each other when we were teenagers? I think I wasn't like that, but I am sure it exists. Every character in this book is fucked up. But for some reason, this is one of those books that, although part of me hated every second of it, I couldn't stop reading.
