Surprisingly i loved this book. I wasn't a huge fan of the first book. I thought it was too long and just a little too... I don't know the right word.. just too much I guess. I don't know. I kinda love that Jacque is crazy and that Shea is the only one that can calm him. I love the whole life ma...
Just like the first book. I started reading and fell into the book. Jacques was delicious. I can't help my love of the tortured ones. Shea proved worthy. Strong independent loyal. Over all. Fantastic
Jacques was kidnapped and tortured, left for dead seven years ago. Shea is the only one who can hear and feel him, and travels from her home in the US to Europe and the Carpathian mountains, unable to resist the urge to reach him. A bit dark but a great read.

A quick review of the mythology of the series: There's an ancient race of people who hail from the Carpat...
