3.5 starsA little anticlimactic and predictable but good. I liked this enough to try other books by the author. I think some of her others are supposed to be better. More to come.
Had a Jack the Ripper feel to it, but not so morbid. Very entertaining. I will definitely read more from this author.
I wish I could elucidate why this story didn't gel for me, but I can't. All I know is that it didn't. My general feeling is that it's in need of some firm but gentle guidance through editing. There's a story there, and maybe a good one, but it's lost in a sea of repetition, red herrings, and ridicul...
