The story itself is okay but the men are sexist jerks in this series and the women can not even breathe without assistance of a man. So after a few chapters, I was fed up. I do not know if Iim going to read a other book from this auteur.

Again I liked it but I didn't love the book. But I love the world it is all based in. I have read a couple reviews for books later on and a lot of complaints I see are that it's the same story over and over again and I can defiantly see that happening. This is only the 3rd book and I can already s...

wow, now this book was incrediable, Aiden was so alpha and so sexy in his personality and being. I loved his take, snarky and sarcastic yet he had great love for Maria and Stefan, and then as it developed for Joshua and Alex.Oh there was my Gregori showing up too, cant wait to get to the next book :...

Alexandria and her younger brother were in trouble and desperately needed a hero and they got one.Alexandria is so sweet I really loved her and the adorable little brother made the story that more enjoyable. The pleasant banter that goes on between Aidan and Alexandria is sweet and helps lighten the...

A thouroughly sensual, erotic book. Aidan as a very stong Carpathian male, has to work very hard to get thru to the very human turned Carpathian female Alexandria. A very fast-paced, story. Very enjoyable.

Dark Gold is okay but not as good as the previous two books in the series. Both Aidan and Alexandra seemed a little flat to me and I never fully bought their relationship. It certainly did not have the intensity of the previous two. There was a bit more humor, which was nice but little suspense. ...

Re-read 2nd time by audiobookThese women are too stupid to live, literally. Yes, they're rescued from the bad guys. Yes, things were done to make sure she lived. But does she appreciate it, no, she fights and hurts everyone and would rather die than live with a man who has been kind to her and ha...

"Dark Gold" is the 3rd book in Christine Feehan's Carpathian series. This book centers on Aidan Savage. He is born of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. He is 800 years old. Like others of his race, he drinks blood; he can shapeshift; he has telepathic abilities; and he can not go in the sun. Like...

What is it about these Carpathians? I can't seem to stay away from these books. This time I lasted three months. I started reading this book, and soon I was fully immersed in this world of dark sensuality and supernatural beauty, where the creatures of the night are a race of ancient immortals w...
