I really wanted to like this one more than I did, but it seemed a wee disjointed and erratic, which is unlike the other JRL’s I have read in the past. The writing itself was good but the story just seemed to miss the mark for me and ended up only being ok. 2.5 stars.
A gutwrenching thriller that drags you into the horrors of domestic abuse, the endless cycle of violence, fear and despair, where the only ray of hope leads you to the blackhole called the DarkNet, the virtual badlands populated by faceless shadows. Where anything can be had, for a price.....and not...
A revenge story about wife abuse and the lengths that one woman will go to when all hope is lost and everything held dear is no more......
