OK, this was on sale at RiteAid for five bucks and it had a pretty cover and is hardcover and the author is from the Pacific Northwest. And in spite of the two author blurbs by authors who didn't impress me, I bought it anyway.

Unfortunately I did not remember The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters well enough to really enjoy this. It's definitely a middle volume of a trilogy.
A bit muddled. The story seemed to have little shape, like a roller coaster with teeny, tiny hills. I'll read the third one when it comes out, but don't have high hopes. Svenson's sections were dull. Temple's and Chang's sections kept me reading.
