This was a huge FCBD issue. Most are a little over twenty and this was almost six. It's also a huge amount of short stories, all originals, or unused material from larger volumes. Unused material counts as new to me since it was unpublished until now, though. Some were brilliant, some were w...
a small and rich story, full of the great little details & weirdnessess that I love about dash shaw, but set in almost-reality. glad I own it so I can give it the re-reads it deserves. we're talking themes of LIFE and DEATH and FATHERS and DREAMS. Inception wishes it were as meaningful.

Actually, even if you were one of the 1% (the cool kids who were not only popular but had neither academic nor family problems), then this book is full of at least second-hand ouch.A co...
I re-read this last night for the first time since I read it online around 2009ish. I still love it, even though the vertical format is annoying and means that I can't read it with my cat. If I were forced to make a top 5 list of my favorite graphic novels, this would probably be on there. It's unco...
