I expected a lot more from this book. The beginning was a little slow and the whole flashback part really bored me. Not sure I'll be reading the next book in the series.

This one is certainly an original. Fantasy usually makes me irritated, but this plot weaves it in in small bits, at first, making it easier to swallow. Odd, but fascinating. 3.5 stars.
