My career as a broadcaster, entrepreneur, and writer has taken me from the jungles of Australia's Cape York Peninsula to the minarets of Riyadh. I've climbed the spire of the Empire State Building, floated the Usumacinta River to the Mayan ruins at Piedras Negras in Guatemala, and photographed the tree-climbing lions and mountain gorillas of Uganda. As a golf writer, I've had the intense pleasure of playing some of the greatest golf courses in the world, from St. Andrews and Royal Porthcawl to Pebble Beach and Doral's Blue Monster, not to mention Winged Foot, Olympic, and even super-private Fisher's Island. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it. My most recent project is Weird Golf: 18 Tales of Fantastic, Horrific, Scientifically Impossible and Morally Reprehensible Golf.
