David Biedrzycki has been drawing since he was 4 years old. Growing up he wrote and illustrated his own books for family and friends. A commercial artist since 1980, his art has appeared in magazines, book covers, billboards,posters, juice bottles and even ice cream boxes. He illustrated his first children's book in 1996. Now David has returned to his first love of writing and illustrating his own books. He also visits over 70 schools a year sharing his work with aspiring writers, illustrators and readers.

This is a great book about all the different things you can be on Halloween. The girl realizes that none of the spooky things are real it is just other kids dressed up. This would be fun to read on Halloween day. It is leveled 160 L.

Fun, punny, and smart, this hard boiled detective story had my niece and I entertained. The story was good, and the language was well used, creating great voices for the characters, and great imagery for setting the scenes. I'm definitely going to look for more Ace Lacewing books!

The kids love Jerry Pallotta's alphabet books. This one is another interesting and lovely addition to the collection.
