David Cherubim is a musician, author and editor from Los Angeles. He records and performs as a solo artist, as well as with other artists. His song Thelema from his album BABALON (2007) is in the movie Abbey of Thelema (2008) about Aleister Crowley. A recitation of Aleister Crowley's Hymn to Pan, by David Cherubim, was included in the song Satyricon on the CD album Satyricon (2011) by the Italian rock band MaterDea. He started the Aleister Crowley Foundation and the Thelemic Golden Dawn (which is influenced by the works of Aleister Crowley). He is an Adept of the Hermetic Golden Dawn (Israel Regardie lineage) and an Initiate of Aleister Crowley's Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.). He is the author of Alquimia: A Arte Negra ("Alchemy: The Black Art," Madras Editora, 1998); his book Diary of the Antichrist was first published in 2008 (Second Edition, 2012, in association with the Aleister Crowley Foundation); and he has contributed to many books, including: The Legend of Aleister Crowley by Israel Regardie and P.
