David Happe is a 20 year veteran of the retail industry, including corporate purchasing experience for Best Buy Company Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (Sam's Club). David was the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SSC Inc., the retail marketing partner of Samsung CCTV in the United States. In addition, he created the Akai television line from concept through product development and distribution, which went from $0 to $200m in sales in 4 years. He was the lead consultant for Amazon.com when Amazon opened their consumer electronics store. He is also the founder and president of U.S. Install, which he sold controlling interest to MBND in March 2008. David's paralegal education is from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, where he resides with his wife Lisa and two children. David is also a Disaster Action Team (DAT) responder with the Twin Cities chapter of the American Red Cross.In 2009, he concepted and designed a license agreement with NASCAR and JR Motorsports. The industry recalibrating GPS featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. voice navigation and exclusive NASCAR content entered mass production in April 2009.In 2010, Dave was the first ever winner of a survivor-type business reality contest sponsored by Clear Channel's KTLK 100.3FM radio station in Minneapolis, eliminating 30 other entrepreneur's business plans on the way to receiving a start-up financing package for one of his latest concepts.Dave's first book, Launching Points, is due to hit bookshelves nationwide in September, 2010.
