It's been said that life requires the reconciliation of strict opposites. In my first two books that's what you will see. "Snapshots from my Uneventful Life" is a series of short comedic essays. It's a two-hour read designed for EVERYONE. It's irreverant, hysterical and uplifting. Everything in it is true. It contains no sex, no blood and guts, no religion, and no politics. And, it contains no four letter words. How it will be able to garner anyone's attention, I do not know. "Visions Through A Glass, Darkly" displays the contrary side of my personality. It is the result of a ten year effort. I have specifically tried to write something different. It is dark, terrifying and complex. By writing Visions I am also trying to tell you something, not just scare you. This novel crosses several genres. Call it what you will; thriller, psychological horror, literary fiction or mystery-thriller. I consider it a psychological horror novel, but it really doesn't fit into any format at all. There is little direct violence, and sometimes the story line will appear to be an excuse for the true horror going on in the main character's mind. The style - which is generally prose-like - can be unnerving all by itself. If you allow it to, it might change you. I work as an attorney with a practice in New York City.
