Made me laugh!!Funny how wild children's imaginations can run.
Lincoln Green discovers it's more fun to do things himself.
I would definitely use this book in a middle school (or primary) classroom. It's a great picture book about being "different" and learning to accept others. The illustrations were creative and made me wish I was inside the book!
I really like this one. Carly has a great review here. There was great interplay between the text and the illustrations in the early part of the story, where the boy was describing his grandpa and clearly, he didn't quite get the distinctions that made his grandpa unique, and definitely not ordinary...
Cute story about a class pet. Although tiny, each of the children imagine him as giant.
