Perhaps it is just me, maybe I have read one too many zombie books (although I don't think so), but this was just more zombie filler. Nothing new, some action but nothing exciting. Too routine, it was far to easy to know that a character was not going to make it long before they got swarmed by a p...
Rating: 3 of 5 Typical zombie fiction: action-packed, moderate gore, fast-paced plot, and so-so character development. For anyone looking for pure entertainment, Dead City would certainly suffice. Side note: This was my first Joe McKinney book.

2.75 Stars - A simple zombie novel. You don't need a big brain to read this one~

Action, adventure, violence from beginning to end. If you like zombies then you will like this book. A massive viral outbreak has paralyzed the gulf states with the story centered on San Antonio. There is not much character development here but there is a lot of death and destruction!
